ENGL 2100: Technical Writing
The duration of this course was spent learning how English and writing is applied in any career field. Because of this, I chose to display my technical writing portfolio. It accurately conveys what we've learned this semester and how I could easily use it in my preferred career field, computer science. It provides an array of writing pieces that I crafted with the future in mind.
While writing the entirety of my portfolio, the most prevalent problem I ran into was the construction. It was difficult for me to quickly grasp the organization of each piece and how it was different or similar from any of the other pieces. I eventually overcame this with the help of peer reviews and an instructor consultation. Just like in a normal workplace, it's the help and assistance of the people around you that make the difference between being a good employee and adaptive employee.
